The goal of the administrator is that we, as a community continue to enjoy the quality of life, uniquely found here in Exeter. While we understand the importance of our past, we must continue to look forward to ensure that the expectations of our citizenry continue to be met. The quality and commitment of the city workforce and it's service delivery are second to none and it is this administrations' goal to see that it continues. We as a city have laid the ground work to ensure that the infrastructure of our city is capable to meet the current and future demands of our community. I started my career as a police officer with the City of Madera in 1977. I was promoted to the rank of sergeant in May 1985. In August 1986 I was appointed the Chief of Police with the City of Exeter. In February 2004 I was appointed as the City Administrator. I have a Bachelors Degree in Administration of Justice from San Jose State University and a Masters of Public Administration from Fresno State University. John H. Kunkel City Administrator |
